The Voting Rights Act related analysis being conducted by Harvard Prof Gary King trudges along. Additionally, Redistricting Commission staff has said elections officials in some Arizona counties have indicated they need minor adjustments to accommodate precinct changes they need to make. Those officials are still compiling the data and the maps for those changes. Until the analysis is completed and the requested county elections changes are submitted, there is very little reason for the AIRC to meet. Which means they might meet next week but nothing is certain yet.
