Republican pols more dangerous than Trump, or could it actually happen here?

Trump is known to be dangerous, a pathological liar, a demogogue, and otherwise incompetent to command a government with the ostensible aim of bettering life for its citizens.

Then there are other Republicans. "SOME" might be better suited for aiming for life as envisioned in the Preamble to the US Constitution. But too many of them, because of Trump's domineering personality, lawlessness, and demagoguery, are not equipped to represent American citizens in such a way.

None have possessed adequate backbone to withstand an anticipated barrage of hateful insults, or possessed rhetorical skills capable of articulating a conservative (NOT reactionary) vision of life worthy of widespread public support.

What did we see from the MAGA crowd during President Biden's 2023 State of the Union address?

Could "it" happen here? Well, what happened on January 6, 2021?

Yale Historian Timothy Snyder says democracy isn't so much a noun, a thing, but a verb.

Cadbury's book tells the all important story of Anna Essinger, Essinger had the necessary foresight to recognize the unfolding tragedy in 1933 Germany. She had the vision and cleverness to act ahead of time to save the children and the institution of her school.

Can the tragedy as unfolded in Germany in the 1930s and 40s happen here? Too many precursors have already arisen. More importantly, can what Anna Essinger did happen here? On a large enough scale to prevent the history of the Holocaust from repeating? I believe in the American people to recognize and have vision and foresight similar to Essinger's. As we Rise UP! with One VOICE. Democracy will triumph.
